In this week's issue of Style, I take an unpopular stance and attempt to defend Altria - the company formerly known as Phillip Morris - whose critics are accusing them of using charity as a method to advertise and gloss over the horrific effects of their products.

Also there is a hot new nightlife 'thing' going on. Yay. So of course I was forced to mention that.

A spate of new Virginia laws went into effect on July 1st and this week in Style Weekly I take a look at a few of them that might just affect you - the discerning barfly. On the agenda we have gun nuts getting nuttier, abortions, DUIs and drinking the hard stuff on a Sunday.
